AFTERCARE

Once you have your AZTEC products installed it is nice to have some handy hints on cleaning and maintenance.

DOORS & WINDOW SCREENS

  • If your doors and screens happen to be sheltered and not subject to rain and weather, (that is they stay dry) then it is a good idea to simply wipe them with a dry cloth.

  • For UNIGUARD and CLEARSHIELD ™ doors occasionally wipe the perforated plate with a micro-fiber cloth or rag. To clean the holes, use an upholstery brush on your vacuum to loosen and suck away the dust. Avoid washing with water as this tends to muddy the holes.

  • CLEARSHIELD ™ doors have a special polymer coating on the perforated Stainless Steel plate and must never be cleaned with a pressure washer. Overpressure washing may cause damage to the polymer coating.

  • Door Frames can be wiped with Methylated Spirits and rag or washed with warm soapy water.

SHOWER SCREENS

  • After each use, it is a good idea to squeegee the glass to reduce a build-up of minerals on the glass.

  • When Cleaning frames never use Ammonia-based or harsh detergents as these may cause damage to the frame coating.

  • Always check untested cleaning products by trial on a small area in an isolated place on the back of the screen.

  • Clean the shower regularly.

SLIDING WARDROBE DOORS

  • Wipe doors to keep clean

  • Keep dust and dirt out of roller tacks

  • When the track is set on the carpet, re-adjustment of the doors may be required once the track settles into the carpet.

  • If removing doors at any time it is always a good idea to refit them in the same location as doors are adjusted to suit their initial location.
